I bought the kit from Z1 that included the longer harness to wire to the brake lights. It's a pretty easy job and no you do not need to remove

I bought the kit from Z1 that included the longer harness to wire to the brake lights. It's a pretty easy job and no you do not need to remove the rear bumper. You do remove some of the interior pieces in the rear hatch area in order to get to the wiring on the driver's side rear tail light.
