it has to do with Anodizing... Titanium doesn't take the red color...
weird chemical reactions and what not.

Yea, basically the coloring process phyically changes the surface of the fasteners to achieve color. The closest we can get is pink.. haha

On a black Z I would reccomend something contrasting. Polished would look classy for sure.

For polished, are we talking like silverware polished, or like a brushed titanium polished, more of a darker gray? (I'm not even sure if this is making sense lol)

Do you happen to have any pics of the Polished on a Black 370?
