Haven't played with LEDs before. Are these plug and play? Do I have to mod anything like cutting and saudering wires?

Jon is right - plug and play. I happened to put most in bacwards the first time (they are polarity specific) I also burned my finger on the stock map light trying to remove it (damn that thing heats up quick!) so shut yours off before you grab it. The plate bulbs took the longest (5 min). I love the way they look, especially the interior lights!

Installed mine a few days go. Very bright. I put a few in backwards the first time. So if you plug them in and nothing happens, first check and make sure the metal is making contact. If still they dont come on, just flip them around. Ill try to post pics of the install when I get home from work. "I have never post pics in a comment before" But maybe I can figure it out.

Does anyone know how hot the upgraded map and trunk lights get? Also, could I get price on Stage 2 upgrade?

The map light does not get as hot as the stock light. And i dont think the stock or LED trunk lights get hot at all.

The LEDs are warm at best. Way less power to run them, too.

Those are a little blurry

BTW, did you use the double-sided foam to hold the Map lights in place? I figured that part out eventually, but it the wiring really didn't route well.

With the LED touching the diffuser, it didn't spread the light as well and created a blinding hot sport. With it back a little due to the tape, it diffused the hot spot some better, but I was tempted to put some rubber feet on it so it would be elevated from the diffuser all the time. Or put in a orange/red filter

Just ordered some cheap gel filters to try

Yeah sry about the burry pics, I was in a hurry. But yeah I did use the double sided foam to hold them. And yes the wire you is alittle long. So you just have to bend it around, just what ever works out the best.

Do you have a package for roadster? Perhaps the map lights look identical, but I also have two more behind the seats...and would rather replace them all.
