Fender Vents details are now available for Pre-Order now.
Message us if you have any questions.

• A minimum of 30 committed orders required before production can start.

• 3D Printed & Carbon Fiber prototypes are test fitted and track tested (Seen in 2016 Super Street Continental Tire Shootout).
• Metal Molds will be made using 3D CAD files with a CNC for accurate dimensions and consistent results.

Deposit Amount (2 options available):
o Option 1: $500 (Discount: $300 Off MSRP)
o Option 2: $325 (Discount: $150 Off MSRP)

o A minimum of 30 committed orders are required. If the minimum order quantity is not met by 7/4, full deposits will be refunded within 30 days.
o Once production has begun, refunds cannot be request. In the event we have any production issues and cannot deliver your part, we issue the deposit amount.

Timeline:
o 6/3 – 7/4: Pre-order period for first batch.
o 7/4 – 8/22 (45 working days): Production of mold and sample part test fit
o 8/22 – 10/17 (45 working days) First batch of Qty: 30 will start production
o 11/1: Orders shipped

The website (FE-Designs.com or finiteelementdesign.com) will be refreshed this week to track number of committed members & status of this product.

Random suggestions for future products:

canards and brake ducts for 2015+ Nismo bumper

this is a bit harder, but a splitter for the 15+ Nismo that doesn't leave a gap between splitter and bottom lip of the bumper (curves upward slightly)

Volk Z 06-05-2018 12:38 PM

I agree with Option Zero..
Also add a rear carbon wing add on for the Nismo 15 wing.... Nismo made one aka gurney flap but its like 2 million dollars so no one has it.

Canards I would be in for sure and a lip like Carbon Signal but hopefully cheaper for the whole carbon lip. 1000 is a bit much

:iagree::iagree: I'm with both of the guys on this one!!!!

Its amazing as the 2015+ bumpers are the most wanted out of all the kits it seems yet we have 2 choices for front lips, no options for wing add ons, 1 option for side add ons...

My rear diffuser was basically custom made and I had to search for the person who makes them, my front pieces were the same at the time but now Fly 1 make them.

A front lip, side add on, rear diffuser and a wing add on would do very well...

Thanks all for the suggestions and valuable feedback. We hope that by getting enough support for this vender vents we can continue to take on more bigger projects.

We are giving huge incentives for the people pre-buying the first batch to fund this project to break even if so just to allow folks to see what we're capable of making.

These 30 people can be a combination between both 350z and 370z owners.

Unfortunately making a quality product with dry carbon fiber with a CNC machined metal mold, there must be a minimum qty order to justify for the initial up front cost.

Aside from looks, it's a functional part and been track tested, featured in the 2016 Super Street Continental Tire Challenge Shootout. The development of these vents goes back to 2yrs+. We hope that there's enough interest and support from the Z community for us to bring these Fender Vents to production.

We're open to hear any feedback and suggestions. Thanks!

I think these vents look amazing and I can tell thebventing would be great but I dont want to hack up my fender... I also have clear film on the entire fender as well.

The other parts would sell. There is a bunch of us wanting those parts but I get financial wise setting them up.

No offense but this is a product that is about function over form even though it looks amazing. You could buy another set of fenders to hack up!

Look how well the TrackSpec hood vents went over, and those required cutting. So I don't think cutting will be a deal breaker.

@FE Design, How are these installing, did I miss this? How are you attaching them to the fender?

Here's a sneak peek at the installation for the Fender Vents for the prototype:

(1) Align 3D Template to fender.
(2) Cut the fender with rotary cutting tool. (i.e. Dremel, or cut off wheel). There's plenty of material the flange of the Vent covers. If you take your time here, it's pretty straight forward
(3) Optional: Spray paint exposed area
(4) Optional: Modify Fender Liner (only rear sections) with shears, it's relatively easy to cut
(5) Attachment of Fender Vents. (Choice of drill and use hardware i.e. Rivets, or Round Head screws or permanently bond to fender with epoxy, etc)

Looks pretty straight forward!

Not familiar with FE DESIGN.

Looks like they have some aggressive CF stuff to offer.
Anyone buy their stuff?

I'm into CF on my Z. Most of my stuff I have bought from ZCFcovers.
ZCF does not offer big stuff. Just CF covers that apply over our OEM parts
Like B-pillars,inside door barrels, gauge pod covers.
For me.great quality,fit perfect.
Good prices on Ebay

FE Design is a quality business that produces legit and functional parts for the Z. Please don't pollute this thread with your Ebay and carbon fiber wrap BS. If you like what you see put your money where your mouth is and be done!

I got their canards for the Nismo. I can not find a flaw in the carbon fiber. It's perfect. And the fit is perfect. Can't wait for the side vents. This is not cheap flea-bay junk.
