Not really sure what im doing poking around in an ausy thread, but heres an answer you can try:
pushing the VDC button turns it off but not the abs braking when you try to drift thing. I havent tried this myself, but I do know if you press VDC and hold it in for a few seconds, the light goes off completely and wont turn back on unless you restart the car. From what ive read, this is supposed to be the '100% off' button. Try that...

u guys ever figure out how to turn off the VDC and Traction Control? I DID!!!! there is a bosch sensor that needs to be unpluged and thats it, no traction control or vdc until you plug it back in or wire a switch to it.

The yaw sensor is in the center console/shifter area. If you pull the cup holder out you should be able to see it.

I thought in order to do a proper burn out you had to pull the brake light fuse? That's what I was doing in order to heat up the tires at the track so the vdc wouldn't kick back in.

You can and all you need is a small switch the interrupts the Bosh yaw sensor under the cup holder
How to disconnect the Bosch modulator?

I notice if I just push the TC button one real quick the light on the cluster comes on but its still engaged. I make sure to push the button all the way for a good second or two while I'm stopped of have the car at a stable speed going strait. also like some of the other guys said if you want slides you have to give it throttle and keep it in or you grip up real quick, just how the Z is. Trust me I've roasted tires making plenty of left and right turns from both stopped and rolling entries. BUT if you don't leave first gear the red line will put a damper on your fun real quick, you hit red line the car cuts ignition and you got no power to keep the wheels spinning. Also wheel hop if you don't get the wheel speed up enough, well, hold onto your fillings.

I have confirmed that the yaw sensor DOES interfair with sideways action, I was a little baffled myself when I had the TC off and it still interveined.
Disconnecting the yaw sensor DOES fix this permanently. |
