iPod cable?

We are currently unable to get the functionality shown on the youtube clip. Not as a nissan option or as an after market part. Does that come down to the

Does that come down to the fact that we have the DVD Nav instead of the HDD as in the US? Or is it some other component?

Is there really no way to get this functionality. Is this confirmed

Couple questions:
What is displayed on the screen while playing the IPOD?
Has anyone tried playing video on the ipod, does it display ok?
