You are able to have full integration but you need to import the OEM kit from Japan. i looked into it, it is mega bucks - a few grand. There are some guys looking at a cheaper aftermarket mod with full integration. I have got my name on the waiting list if an alternate is ever figured out. Ill keep you posted if it comes to avail.

Hi Guys,
maybe not all that relevant but found some interesting post on Lexus forum about integrating Ipod, it may have some usefule ideas for adaption to the Z hard-wired ipod/iphone install (w/o nav interface) -- long-winded, w/ pics - my.IS - Lexus IS Forum also some product for overriding the video. note that this also overrides the video safety feature so it may not be legal in australia. Sorry for bumping an old thread, but we got the exact same issue in the gcc spec Z's and G's. What we have is DVD based navigation, RCA inputs with no USB or Ipod connectivity and Bose 10 speaker audio with 6 CD changer but with no hard disk or memory card (07-09 G's had those).
Does anyone have a list of parts required for conversion to hard disk/music box and ipod integration? I found a few items such as AUX control unit (ipod integration i'm assuming?) and the HD main unit but not sure if we are required to use the HD unit for ipod integration.
