New Owner (but wtb 19" rims)
Hey guys,
I've just signed the deal for my Black 370z and I am like a kid at christmas. I bought from Parramatta Nissan and got a super sharp deal, great news is the cars in stock. But with all that said I really want the 19inch Rays wheels like our friends in the US of A get but I want to know where to get them. So if any one has some info that would be much appreciated and also if there is anything I need to know prior delivery that would be great. P.S or if anyone knows any Australian stores that have any decent 370z products I.E CAI, exhausts & ECU please let me know. TIA |

I'm in the market for the 19" wheels too. I would just suggest keep looking at the 'Parts for sale (Private Classifieds)' forum here and places like ebay. I've seen a few up there - not many yet though. Some don't want to send outside USA. It sucks. I know you can order from a USA dealer that lists their stuff on ebay. But you'd be paying top dollar... but the funny thing is it would probably be cheaper when/if? Australia finally gets them. My Z is due August/September-ish. I think i'll get a bit of use out of the 18s before changing to the 19s.

Congrats on the car!
The factory 19" look pretty good but how much rubber can you fit on them?..and they are really expensive for a mild upgrade. Not really worth it I don't think. The 18s are not too bad, it's just the skinny rubber that is a let down. I'll drive mine for a few months before upgrading I think as it'll give me more time to get the wheels I want. 19" Volk VRG2's are my choice at the mo...but that changes daily. Enjoy your car mate! |

Congrats on your new Z.
In a recent Top Gear Australia show they had a segment where they changed the wheels on a HSV Commodore with 20's I think to 18's and ended up with a much better track time. I personally find the 18s ok, I won't be in a hurry to change them. Rudi. |

Yeah I saw that as well that it was slower on bigger rubber, but I dont remeber if they used the same brand and type of tyre from 18 to 19 etc. I really just like the look but getting the factory 19" rims here is proving very difficult unless your going to by from the US dealers and spend big $$$$$. I would rather just get some Rays or Volks locally than spend way to much on the factory rims. But really can you imagine the grip the car would have with some Bridgestone RE-11 on 19" rims it would be insane

Anyone know how much a set of R35 GTR rims would set me back? Now these would look wicked on a 370Z! Here is a link to a 350Z with them on: R35 GTR wheels on 350z: 350Z / 370Z Forum: Nissan Forums / Infiniti Forums - NICOclub
