I'm not trying to be argumentative, I'm really curious about this. I'm guessing that emissions is not a problem for any vehicle that will pass CARB, but don't really know how strict AU enviro regulations are. |

You can not import a car into Australia that has been sold locally so that rules out the 370Z You can only import the car as a personal import which you have to have owned and have proof of ownership for at least 12 mths from the overseas destination that you are importing the vehicle from. The only way around this is if the car is a grey import which has to fall into one of 2 categories 1. The car was never sold locally in AUS 2. The car is older than i think it is 12 yrs In regards to the right hand drive conversion i think that you do not have to convert it from Left hand drive if it is a classic car made before some time in the 70's (not 100% on that one) All of this to protect the local car industry Holden and partly Ford but for the 90% of the population that don't want one of those vehicles we get screwed  That is why the cars are so much more here than say the US yes we get higher wages but hoses are more, fuel is more, food is more, phones are more etc... |
