Well finally ordered the 370z roadster today after a screw up in price from the dealer! They somehow forgot to include the luxury car tax!! DERR.... they had originally quoted me $67200 for a manual roadster with reversing sensors, mats and boot mat. They even took my credit card details all over the phone then 2 days later they call me up and say we priced it wrong we cant do it at that price!... (Deposit hadn't been taken unofrtunately cause then it would have been too bad for them!!) But anyways i said whats the best price they could do and they said $68,500. They said sorry & were willing to give me the car at that price and not make anything on it. I told them i'd think about it. I called a few other dealers and all of them could not even get close to that price so i called them today and ordered it!... Im hoping next weekend i get it!.... So looking forward to it!... Bring on the nice weather dammit!!

I'm currently pounding the beat looking for a less-than-criminal price for an auto roadster.

First dealer I spoke with quoted me $86,500 on road - when I looked at him as though he had insulted my mother, he added: "that's your worst case scenario" -- No sh*t, Sherlock!!

I'd be interested to know if late $60's/early $70's is achievable. I want to leave myself enough dough for some mods...

370Z Roadster Auto
Brilliant Silver
$70,000 driveaway with floormats, 12 month rego and full tank

Also got $35,000 for trading in 2007 350Z auto touring in Solar Orange with 47,000 kms

I thought $35 for change over was a good deal considering first offer was $45K and the net two around $42K

Model: MY10 370Z Coupe (New)
Colour: Monterey Blue
Transmission: 6M
Options: Not quite
Price: $54,383 Drive Away
Dealer: Mildren Nissan Artarmon

Put a deposit down on a new MY10 - should be delivered late next week. $54,383 driveaway. I wasn't able to get any extras though as the dealer was very rigid with the extras (I would have loved some thrown in for free but that didn't happen). $130 or so for floormats WTF?! Oh well, for the price I suppose it isn't too bad. Dealer doesn't seem to give much of a crap whether you buy the car or not but the price was right.

Are you serious? That's a ridiculous price for a new Z. Is it new with less than 15km on the clock or a demo?

Good on ya

Hi GTRFAN. Yeah I'm serious, I was looking at the contract and it states "up to 45" in the odometer section. Dealer said it was new and it hasn't been registered so I'm assuming that is the case. I just got word that I won't be able to pick up on the weekend and will have to wait until Monday at the earliest because it won't be delivered until Friday and for some reason they need to stuff around for 3 days. That sucks ***!

Happy with the price though. BTW I am a member on the Aussie Forum too.

Hello Damo,

Did they have an auto version with the same colour, or was that the only Z they had at the dealership?

Cheers
Jasmine

Hey Jasmine, not sure if they have any autos at the moment. I was just there today because I had to pick up a loan car as there has been a delay with delivering mine. I would recommend giving them a buzz. They had a carbon silver manual on the floor but that was the only Z I saw. I would recommend speaking directly with the manager (Damian) as he is on the ball, however one of the other dealers in particular is hopeless and I think is part of the reason why I'm still waiting for delivery. The manager was also saying that there are not many MY10's available anymore and they are starting to ask for a little bit more as the MY11 production has been slowed due to the earthquakes. He reckons it might be another month or two before they have MY11 Coupes in stock.

Hope this helps.
