Coupe or Roadster

Hi guys,

My name is Dave, I am new to this forum and thought that starting a new thread would be a great way to get to know everyone.

I am looking at buying a 370z in January but am undecided whether to get the Coupe or the Roadster and would like peoples opinions and the pros and cons of each.

Im sure this thread has been done before but as i said i think it will be a great way to get to know all the 370z enthusiasts.

Thanks

Hi Dave. :hello:

Is your car going to be a daily driver? What kind of weather does Sydney have? Extremely hot, extremely cold? Either one doesn't work well for a roadster in my opinion.
Personally, I'd like to have both coupe and roadster, but that is a little pricey.
Good luck in your search.

iv had both and loved em both just as much. Roadsters get a lot of attention with the top down but downside is that not to Manny wings are made for the roadsters and im a wing guy. The coupe is lighter and for me the rear end looks better but no sunroof. I wish i had both as well. Blue roadster and yellow coupe FTW.

Heated and cooled seats help with those extremes.

Yes the car is going to be a daily.

Sydney weather is all over the place at the moment. But for about 9 months of the year i drive with my windows open so in regards to weather Sydney couldnt be better.

When the top is down and it's 110f, the cooled seats -- much like the goggles -- do nothing :tiphat:

Still the roadster is pretty damn fun between 65f and 100f

Anyone else with opinions?

ZR was right for us, but only because it is not our DD.

I believe that the roadster would be a better car when the roof is down but how is it during winter when the roof is up as a daily?

I owned 350Z coupe for 4 years. Now I have 370Z roadster. After one year I can definitely say that roadster is much more fun to drive with the top down especially when I take it for weekend drive in Adelaide Hills.

For those rainy or extremely hot days soft top does the good job although it is a bit noisier inside than in the coupe.

After all I have no regrets that I paid higher price. If I had to choose again I would definitely go with roadster.

coupe hands down IMO
