I placed my order today for a manual in Titanium...can't wait! :) Delivery is late July.

PM me if you need assistance with getting a good price and are ready to buy in Vic now.

The 19" wheels are a big NO from the dealer...I asked him why and he said they may not ever come out...interesting. The next facelift won't be before 2 years either. He also said fitting your own wheels and suspension is fine as long as it's legal and done by a professional shop which is good to know (re warranty).

Heh nice color choice GTR, I was originally going to go with that, but they had absolutely no display cars with that color in Victoria, so I wussed out and went with something I'd seen in the flesh.

They had one in greensborough, I had a look at it there hidden in the back of the showroom, pretty nice colour... I think I'm going to go black though, keep in tradition with my 350z lol

POTM 06-10-2009 01:52 AM

Congrats GTR on the ordering....Titanium is great under the sun which reflects a bronze rosie colour....the price you quoted on this threat seems to be super cheap for a manual...NSW dealer seems to be fairly solid on the price and it is fairly hard to bargain...VIC does seem to be little cheaper

If any of you guys are planning to get an auto in NSW, can you please tell me what's the best price you got offered? ....Thanks heaps

Awww what... When did they get it? I called up Nissan HQ in Aus before visiting a dealer and they told me there was one on its way to Berwick and that was it, but when I got there, it hadn't arrived yet.

Even made it a point to go to as many dealers as possible to compare prices / see the different colors.

GTRFAN 06-10-2009 02:49 AM

Thanks for your comments. I never saw the Titanium in the flesh but looked through the pics on here enough to make my decision.
I almost went with white, which I did see, but in the end I wanted a colour that shows the rear flares and polishes up well.

evse82 06-10-2009 03:01 AM

Yeah I've seen the white on the road at night, looks great, even though I really liked it I still want a colour that you can get a great reflection in... something darker. The titanium in the sun is definately the best of the bunch, it has the most pearl out of any of the colours they have on offer, looks more like it's off a bmw rather than a nissan.... for some reason they don't offer colours like this too often on the 350/370's...

Hey GTRFAN what was ur total on road figure?

I was actually asked not to disclose that, but PM me for some more details. I can get you a very good price under 67k drive away.

Indy 06-10-2009 04:12 AM

Titanium =/= Platinum Graphite
PG for us is Carbon Silver.
Titanium is Titanium Gray, which the Americans don't have.
I've seen PG, but not TG...

Oh ok that explains things between the colour names. The one I ordered has the code (KAC). If it looks like this I'll be happy.

Well i should have been driving my 370 around for 24 hours now.
Yay for me it's stuck at the warf :(

370er 06-21-2009 01:50 AM

Ellz - got your Z yet?

Does the aussie model come with the tire pressure sensors?

Indy 06-21-2009 04:56 AM

Hmmm, haven't really noticed scrolling through the little console thing next to the tach, which is where I assume you can access the TPM read-outs.

Don't think it was listed under the official Australian specifications either, so I'd say maybe not? Guess its another thing that Nissan skimped out on us.

Hey the Australian ones don't come out with tps I'm not sure which American ones do anymore, they were in the 350z but not all 370s I dont think

Ellz 06-22-2009 02:50 AM

Yeah no TPS. I got mine a day late.
This rain is giving me restraint to break it in properly... still its driving me crazy not being able to put my foot down.

Time to look into ordering some Stillen intakes.

Will get some pics once i pop my Volks on.

Indy 06-23-2009 12:31 AM

I've put 2,500 kms on mine already, so well and truly out of the break-period. Haven't really taken it up to the red-line yet, but even at 6.5k RPMs, god it sounds good. Guess people either love the exhaust note or hate it on the 370...

370er 06-23-2009 02:57 AM

2,500kms already... you've been busy ;)

I was shocked TopGear OZ said it sounds like a tractor. That's a bit harsh I think.

So you have the auto... and it's pretty good? If I buy one i'm still not sure if i'd go manual or auto. I've driven an auto for 6 years so i've grown into being a lazy driver :p

Indy 06-23-2009 07:29 AM

The manual mode is a good compromise between a manual and a standard auto I think. It keeps you on your toes (relatively), but when you want to forget about shifting completely, you still have that option.

Ellz 06-23-2009 09:11 PM

Sound wise I can't really coment yet about 4,000rpm+
But up to 4 I don't mind it, still got the meaty note. But soon I plan to have the Stillen intake and Berk HFC.

2,500km, nice.
I'm at 250km

Hey when are you getting the stillen exhaust in? and you getting it from here? I got a quote to get one in from the states but the shipping is expensive. Maybe we can combine or something?

I'm keen for a group buy on parts if you guys are keen.

Ellz 06-28-2009 05:31 PM

Yeah, i'll be keen, what parts are you guys looking at getting?

Well I had emailed Steve at Stillen in the states, he was really nice ang got a quote together but the shipping was expensice, I since lost that email (outlook deleted my folders) but I'll email him again and get a quote again this time I'll say more people are keen.

I was looking at getting the exhaust system (STILLEN : STILLEN 370Z Dual Exhaust System)

$1260.33 USD for the exhaust. Shipping from memory was about $650 USD

Who would be keen? I can email him again and get a quote with numbers...

I was trying to see if you could buy stillen parts in AUS but I don't think anyone gets them in..

Ellz 06-28-2009 08:45 PM

Yeah, i'll put my name down for them.
I'll also grab the Stillen G3 CIA

Ok Well I'll email him then, I'll say 3 ppl are interested and you want the CAI intakes too. I want to get the intakes as well but I'm worried about it voiding warranty... If you get them I might get them too and decide later if i wanna put them on lol

GTRFAN 06-29-2009 04:27 AM

Thanks evse82

I'm interested in the same as Ellz - Exhaust and G3 intakes

EVERY 370Z in US must have TPM. It's not optional, it's a mandatory by Government. Most of you guys can't locate is on the dash because it's NOT a readout anymore. It's simply a symbol on the instrument panel (sorta flat tire symbol). Next time before starting your car, keep the car in ACC II to see the icon. The sensor will trigger if ANY one of your tires get below certain tire pressure.
