Default Top Speed Exhaust

Hi All,

Anyone wants a Top Speed Exhaust (see review)Top Speed Exhaust Review only a 1 week old.

The exhaust is a quality piece with a good finish, but with my cats and Y pipe its a tad too loud for me. I might be getting a bit old

Anyway if anyone in Melbourne wants to pick it up for $540 (I paid $640) please let me know.

Thanks.

Cheers,
K

Hi Daisuke149,

The exhaust came with silencers and I left them in. With my berk cats and Tanabe Y pipe it sounds good, bit a bit loud. This could just be me though.

Cheers,
KS.

The silencers looked like they were installed. Do I need to do anything to it.

That is odd..with the silencers and my larger y pipe it sounds quieter than stock (but I do not have HFCs). The only time I thought the exhaust was remotely loud even without the silencers was when my mid pipe was vibrating on the braces underneath the car (caused quite a bit of cabin resonance and noise). I think the TopSpeed is one of the quieter and really rasp free sounding ones out there. It sounds super mean when you get on the gas. It’s very deep when just cruising and shifting at the lower rpm range. I have heard other exhausts and this was my favorite sounding.

Hi Svre46,

Hmm… you might be onto something. What did you do about the mid pipe vibrating on the brace? Maybe that’s what’s causing it to be loud.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers,
KS.
