Model/Build number of the latest coupe with 19" wheels?

Hi. I'm currently negotiating with a dealer on a new Z and think I have a good price, but how do I ensure I'll be getting the latest build? Of course I'll ensure that the contract says 2010 but is there a particular model number or build date I need to look out for? I'm worried about being sold an older model with the wheels swapped for 19".

By the way, all 3 dealers I've spoken to insisted that the coupe still only comes with 18" wheels. I had to convince them to download the latest brochure to show them otherwise :shakes head:

They know mate. The bulletin came out to them at the end of March...I've got a copy :)

They are just trying to clear dead stock.

What date were the new 2010 (19" wheels) models built after? He mentioned an April build but it would be complianced in July or something and I suspect shenanigans.

I suppose it wouldn't be too bad if he was switching wheels with a roadster to clear old stock, as long as I saved money, got the sweet 19s and it was a 2010 (for resale).

That would be right. Uggh I hate dealing with these guys. Takes the buzz out of buying a new toy when you are being badgered and shafted the whole way through.

Its not just a matter of a vehicle with 19" wheels on it... You'll be able to tell if the car is a wheel upgrade only because 19" wheels are part of the sport package which includes the OEM big brake kit AND the forged rays among other things. If you look at the wheel package and don't see the 4 pot brakes its an upgrade so take a pass on it, because its likely overpriced and under-equipped. I can't imagine a dealer doing this without disclosing it. That would be fraud. To get the price, they'd have to say it was a different model... All which can be verified by calling NISSAN consumer affairs with the VIN #..
