Default Stillen Exhaust

Hi everyone,

I recently picked up my 2010 370z and have been looking at buying a Stillen exhaust from the US: STILLEN : STILLEN 370Z Dual Exhaust System

Has anyone in Oz purchased and installed this system? Was there any issues with the fitment? Comments on performance/sound? Anyone interested in another group buy?

Look forward to catching up on the next melb criuse.

From doing hours of homework.

The feed back is it sounds good however the tips stick out funny.

A bloke in Melbourne has it.

Also I cant say I'm a fan of exhaust clamps which the stillen system uses 2 or 3. But each to there own.

I ordered and installed the Stillen dual catback exhaust, and I love it. The tips do stick out quite a bit further than stock, but I don't mind at all...I'm sure there's a way to move them back if you want. You can noticeably tell a difference in power, gaining about 15 hp. I also got the Stillen G3 dual intakes installed and it is a great combination in gaining power and sound.

Christof.

i am also thinking about the stillen pipes. not sure how big the diameter of the pipes are, if it suits when i drop in 2 turbos and may require larger pipes. what price did you get for the stillen pipes??

stillen site says $1295.51 US + postage and handling. Think the system is 2.5 from the cat back so no initial impact if you decide to put in turbos. You'd probably need to replace the front section of the exhaust (engine back to start of stillen system) when the time comes to suit the addition of the turbos.

Also, I did not have any issues at all with the install. I had my local Maxi Muffler shop install them while I watched the whole time, it took them about 45 minutes total to uninstall my stock exhaust and put the Stillen on. I will also measure the diameter of the pipes and post that up too.
How do you post pictures on here again? I've actually never done it.

I have the Stillen exhaust. Don't worry about the tips sticking out. You can adjust the muffler location on the rubber hangers to change where the tips end up (thank Stillen for those slip joints for this reason). My tips are flush with the rear fascia. I love the look of the 4" tips. The sound is awesome when you add high flow cats, so consider adding them as well.

I have some pics of the exhaust around here somewhere...just search for Stillen Catback Review and look for my post.
