Default Service Experiance

Took the car in for a service today with Nissan.

They let me take in my own oil and filter and took 100 bucks off the service so was quite pleased.

There was a window that allowed you to see into the workshop, they did put the filter i gave them in, they did use the oil i gave them as well. So all was good...

But they gave the car back with a scratch on the leather shifter... it's not big enough for them to change it, last thing i want is possible damage to the ring around the shift or the transmission if i got them to replace it... Not sure if they even would change it, it's sorta hard to prove... but damn it's annoying...

Left me feeling a bit indifferent about it... the car's purring but bloody hell

AHHHH sorry about the spelling in the title... I can't change it now... ><

I had mine in for 20K service today, used my oil (Motul 300V as I am off to "sunny" Philip Island on Sunday week). Total price was ~$220 and job was done whilst I waited .. only problem was that the desk/chair I had for the wait was wonky and I got a cricked neck working the laptop !!! Mind you, my laptop is a luggable rather than a portable ... bit like the rest of me really ... just a bit older !!!

Lol. I'm at the dealership as I type getting them to fit my mudguards... Correctly!
2 hrs on and it's still not done cause of the height of the car they say.. Oh well.

I got my shifter changed to a nismo one last week from my dealership. No issues there. My advice is to ask and expect them to do it.

The customer is always right... Right?

To add, I also get the service guys to drive my car in and out as
their driveway is steeeeeep. If they damage it, they fix it...

Did you attempt it yourself or did the dealership stuff it up?

Dealer stuffed the guards but it was just a fitment issue. Sorted now.

Took them 10 mins and 2 of them to back it out and my chin guard still got scraped

Bought some sand paper so evan can fix it as I've heard that he's great at rubbing things the wrong way..
