Default ECU reset going into winter

I've noticed my idle has changed a bit recently as the air is a lot cooler now going into winter. The air temp this morning was 10deg at my place in the SE Melb.

I want to reset the ECU and let it re-learn.

Evan, whats your secret pedal pressing technique for the reset?

This is what I do.... timing needs to be perfect and if you start the car and the CEL is blinking at random times, just turn the car off and start it again, it should be ok then. It is from the 350z but works the same on the 370.

1.Confirm that accelerator pedal is fully released, turn ignition switch to accessory and wait 3 seconds.

2.Repeat the following two procedures quickly five times within 5 seconds:

1.Fully depress the accelerator pedal (HARD).
2.Fully release the accelerator pedal.

3.Wait 7 seconds, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for approx. 10 seconds until the CEL starts blinking.

4.Fully release the accelerator pedal (while the CEL is still blinking)

5.Wait about 10 seconds.

6.Fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep it for more than 10 seconds.

7.Fully release the accelerator pedal (The CEL light will continue to blink).

8.Turn ignition switch to start and now you can start the car. The CEL light should be gone.
