Black 370

G'day guys :hello:

Congrats on the forum very informative, if this is in wrong spot fell happy to move.

As the heading states we were receintly after a second vechicle as our last car was written off in a bad accident that our son was driving, not his fault, and he was shaken but o/k.

Bought a Black 370Z 11 months old and having had a Maloo and in the market for another Maloo/Senator (bit Holden biased) the wife suggested a 370 as the kids had come of age now and are driving their own cars. Test drove the Audi TT - impressed but the rear seats were a waste of time unless you have kids 2 foot tall. Took a 2004 350 coupe for a drive and wasn't bad then drove a 2009 350 roadster and in sunny Canberra with another roadster in the shed just was not feasable. Very surprised that both cars were very very similar although 5 years differance between them.

Thanks to carsales the wife found this one Black/Auto and impressed for under 60k.

Am chasing a set of "Fashion" wheels 20x8 and 20x10s hopefully in next week or so.

Will post pics soon

Cheers Paul

Congrats Paul. The Z in black will be awesome.

Just wondering how you compare the Z with the Maloo?

Cheers

Congrats Paul

Just wondering, how are the noise levels for the car between Canberra and Sydney on the Federal Hwy?

Our car is horrible on the M4 and M2 but on the M7 it's quite quiet...

G'day mate, yeah two different cars both with ample power and great stopping power, the Maloo probably a gruntier feel with more torque down low, were as the 370 has the legs up higher.

Cheers Paul

I did notice there was a bit of road noise initially but soon got used to it, plugged in a few CD's, cranked up the volumne and just drove with a smile from ear to ear.

The Federal wasn't too loud, although having driven the car from Brisbane to Canberra it seamed to be over very quickly.:driving:

Car is now on second set of tyres, seller replaced day prior to selling.

Booked in this Friday for Mags and tyres.

Cheers Paul

That's awesome. Throw in some mods and should be even better.

I would have thought the v8 would have had more top end...

cheers,
KS

I love V8's... so smooth, so much pull anywhere in the rev range... it's the best... except for the fuel consumption...

Not sure, SWMBO is out in the car now. I'd say they were cheapies as previous owner put them on day before sale.

Cheers Paul

G'day guys

The wheels turned up yesterday, not bad but wished I went bigger at rear.

Nice rims.

Could they have used spacers to flare the rear rims out?
