Hey Gazza, thats the bit I'm not over the moon about, Wheels are 20x 8.5 and 20x10's. Rear tyres are only 255's. I'm speaking with supplier about going taller and wider on rear, they just don't fill the guard enough.

Cheers Paul

Hi Paul,

You can check the size of the new tyres with the original fitment with the following link...
Tire size calculator

It's a tyre/wheel calculator.....

I'm Getting some 20" tomorrow - 8.5" on the front with 245/35 tyres
and 10" on the rear with 275/30 tyres.... Which is a pretty standard/common
combination.... I was gonna go to 285 on the rear but a 10mm increase in width made the price jump too high as they are not as common as the 275..
The rule is that the rolling diameter should be within 3% or less of the original Specs....(stock wheels/tyres) Otherwise it throws out your Speedo & Odometer too much.....

Gary...

Default Vertini Fashion

Hey Paul,

Are your wheels the Vertini Fashion? Did they use spacers on the rear wheels?

I had ordered the Vertini Hennesy and the fronts just cleared the brake caliper block, but the rears would have needed a 6mm spacer, so as spacers are illegal in Qld I had to select another brand...Are spacers legal in Canberra?

Gary..

I'm told that spacer are illegal in most states in Australia.

O/k in answer to some of your questions yes, Fashion wheels. No - the first size was 255- 30-20s, now they are 275-40-20 we wanted to fill the guards and not lower vehicle to retain softer ride and handling.

Before with rubber bands on

Now with bigger tyres fnt and rear

The new tyres seam to me to do the car more justice and there is nil clearance problems on rear. (the fronts had to have 3mm put in but Shhhh!! )

The speedo was slightly out with the smaller tyres (using gps on mobile about 5ks out at 80k/hr)

As for the rolling diameter the smaller profile were near on two inches smaller in height at the fnt, the bigger ones are now within 10mm from factory wheel/tyre height.

Cheers Paul
