I'll just ask the dealer first if it's that easy. We may need separate firmware disks. This could just be the maps.

I'll still try it!

I'll try it lol... There won't be any chance of bricking it.

Like every other device, the firmware will be loaded onto the unit via a different method (ie. not just putting in the map DVD and turning it on). The DVD will only contain the maps for the unit. So this one will just be the updated version of the current maps.

The new firmware would be nice though too....... I don't think it'll be possible though, from what I've read elsewhere the nav units are now different, so most likely will have different version codes....

So far I've only seen one new phone option menu and the icons with each turn off.

I'm not 100% sure about the extra option as I didn't have my Old z for awhile...

Hey Gazza

Stop following me around, I went up to Port Macquarie on the weekend also. Stayed up on Saturday night at The Observatory in Williams street. I was thinking how many 370s call Port home. So, on Saturday there were two extras for the night.

I had a smooth trip up and back except for the 80kph construction zone up to Heron Creek. Like you I have my service reminders up for the 1000k service, unlike you I will book in later for the Nissan trained tech to wipe his greasy hands all over the car and take it for a quick burn around the block.

So how far is Lake Macquarie from Port Macquarie..?
