Any Members Around from WA?
I was just browsing around and noticed alot of users from NSW and VIC, but are there any forum members from WA?
If you're from WA, post where abouts you are located and maybe a cruise or something could be organised? Could be a good chance to catch up with fellow Z owners  I'm Rockingham. |

I'm in Joondalup, but haven't got my 370z CS yet, hopefully this week. I read there's no petrol relief. How much are you guys paying to fill up a full tank and how offten?
|
I wanted to get Carbon Silver, but it seems to be everyone's choice that I have spoken to, even my bro is getting CS. I opted for the Brilliant Silver in the end.
Since getting my car I have done ~2300km's, avg 9.9L/100km's, with a good combination of hard driving and extended highway driving. I usually fill up after doing about 600km's or so (approx 60L), 60 x ~1.40 (98 octane) = approx $84 each fill. I've been doing around 400km's a week so $84 lasts me 1.5 weeks or $56 a week. IMO fuel is never an issue, if your spending around 70k on a car and you worry about an extra $10 a week fuel you shouldn't be buying it in the first place. The fuel all depends on how you drive it, if you drive it like a 4 cyl Mazda, you'll get around the consumption of the Mazda, if you like to put on the gas and test your 0-100 times at each set of lights then your gonna chew through the petrol. :) |
Thanks for the info TJZ. I'm prepared to pay more for petrol, service, insurance and everything else that's why I'm buying it.
Everyone want's to fill up or buy petrol when it is at it's cheapest. I'm just telling everyone what I have read. So you can fill up when you see cheap petrol. Insurance: I did a lot of calling and found SGIO to be the cheapest $800 something and this is on 55% no claim bonus. Yeah I had an accident in January so lost some NCB. Anyone got a good quote? |
How crazy was the hail storm today! I was right under the storm, the dark clouds and the lightning was freaking me out. Just heard the the breaking new Jacos Ladder at Kings Park just collapsed and mud slides. Hope no one was caught in it.
Did any of you guys had to drive through those flooded roads or got hit my the hail? |
Well I'm 50km SOR so it wasn't that bad at home, no hail, just heavy rain/thunderstorm. First time I've driven my Z in the rain, it drove like a dream :) with VDC on of course

Have anyone seen a blonde chick driving a black 370z around Perth? I saw her today in Northbridge. Not just any blonde she is actually hot! and even more hotter in the black 370z. I don't think there are that many young blonde chicks driving this awesome car around.
