AUX for video
 

Hey guys, i cant get any video on my iphone working with the aux provided. any inputs?

I had some running from my iPhone, did you change the settings to NTSC out ?

NTSC out from iphone or from the sat nav? thx man..

i had yellow white and red jack in, and tried to play a music video and the screen's just black. tried changing the setting from iphone to both ntsc and pal and doesnt work. any help would be appreciated.

NTSC on the iPhone, also is your cable an original Apple one ? ( mine is )

Not all after market products work with the iPhone. Some work fine on an iPod touch but dont work on the iPhone.

I guess you set the Sat Nav to A/V in.

My iPhone plays video fine through the Aux inputs in the centre console. I just bought an after market Belkin connector with red white and yellow plugs. The yellow plug is video. I didn't need to change any settings on my iPhone. As you would expect, the screen blanks when the car is in motion.

Safety feature. You can't watch video whilst in motion.

ah, i tried to play couple of movies while the car's in park but doesnt work, mayb ill have to get the belkin jacks. any way we could overwrite the safety feature so it'll play when the car moves?

The only PnP converter I have found that states that it work in the 370 is at
NISSAN 370Z 2009-2010 NAVIGATION VIDEO INTERFACE
But they told freight would be $80-$100US.

may i ask after install this interface kit, can play video while driving? or same as before it will cut off after drop hand brake ?

To be honest I don't know, but I would think so as the Vin2 port has priority to allow for working with reversing camers. I suggest emailing them and ask then let us all know their answer?
