just an FYI. I ha this happen on my FX and G. The G had the sending ubnits replaced 3 time. finally the mechanic had to take the tank out

The G had the sending ubnits replaced 3 time. finally the mechanic had to take the tank out and found that the one float was actually getting caught on something inside the tank. he re ben tth efloat and now it is working fine. The FX has had them replaced 2 times now but is still working so far.
