no not yet. Got a guy comin tomorrow to check it... if all goes well i'll be shopping for a Z roadster this month!!! :)

and hopefully with no fuel gauge problems!!

Mr Ed 06-12-2010 03:19 AM

well after filling up, the next day I went for a drive and it appears the final LED has lit up again?

i have no idea what's going on.

the LED is not an issue in the big scheme of things cos after 70-80kms you will be on to the 2nd LED anyways!

The 03 G35 I had about 6 months ago had the same issue with the fuel gauge not reading full. It was a combo of the some fuel filler hose that Nissan issued a TSB for and the sending units. So aggravating...

My final LED is fine now? WTF?

tao168 06-25-2010 04:32 AM

i have the last 1/4 of my leds out, weird

My Z was not driven for almost 3 weeks and was left sitting in the garage with a 3/4 full tank. The next time I refilled, I found the last led was not working. This is the first time it has done this. However, the next morning it's working again.

Ravoz 06-26-2010 01:04 AM

when it does that, its basically on its way out.

Happened to me also. Nissan has the sensor for me so I just need to take the car in.

Majestik 06-26-2010 01:35 AM

Im now at 3000km. When I had my 09 370Z I had already started getting fuel light issues at the same number of kms.
I read somewhere that it was related to fueling with Shell Optimax so I have never filled my 2010 370z with it.
So far all my LEDs are still working..

For me if i know I won't be using the car for awhile on a business trip I fill the car up. This way the last part of the fuel sensor remains submerged in the fuel. I just got back from South America on a 2.5week trip and all the dots light up... If i didn't top the tank up before the trip i'm sure it would have been out...

Mr370z 07-11-2010 08:37 AM

filled up the car for the first time on friday... all LED's are working so far! :)

Lemers 07-11-2010 10:15 AM

Last fill up the last 2 didn't light up at first. The sencond one finally lite up later that day but it's been about 3 fill up since the last LED lit up. Does Nissan have a real fix for it or will they just replace the sensor with the same type that will end up having the same problems?

PreciousMetal 09-18-2010 07:55 AM

Mine was fine for the first 5,000km. Then one LED failed to light, then the second. I have had my fuel sensor replaced twice now under warranty due to the same problem. The last LED failed to light again today when I filled up.
