Hillclimb Anyone?
 

The WRX Club of Victoria run a few Motorsports events throughout the year.

They have one coming up at 'Haunted Hills' near Morwell, VIC (1.5 Hours out of Melbourne) on the 13th of Feb 2010.

To compete all your need is club membership and a CAMS license (both very easy to get) and to enter its $85.

This is a great little circuit for RWD N/A cars and i think a 370 will easily be able to outperform the rest of the field

Im keen to enter!

Anyone else keen to come along, just even to watch?

I am interested but I checked entry requirements and they don't seem good for me

I need fire extinguisher which I don't have

also I don't know whether my car would pass 75db limit at the required distance since I have HFC + Exhaust

75db?? most cars won't pass that lol I think mine idles over that....

Its 75dB(A) at 30 metres! So don't be worried about that one!

Fire Extinguisher is easy, i even have a spare one!

Mounting kit will be the tricky one, but if you really keen my mechanic can make one. So including a new extinguisher and a mounting kit, it will prob cost around $100 and can be easily removed for driving around daily.

Hmmm... well, this looks pretty interesting, I still can't bring myself to track this car I would have come to watch for sure, but I just realised my mate is coming down from Adelaide on the 12th till Sunday so won't be able to go....

But if you want something with less risk then the Skylines Australia MotorKhana's is for you. They do it in Shepparton at the DECA skidpan. You would have to be doing something really stupid to damage your car there!
