Mine were replaced with plastic again - hence why they've broken again.

Yep, my drivers side just broke the other day.
It's booked in for its 20,000K service next week so I will mention it then.

I'm going to take mine in this week for this and the fuel guage issue.

Does anyone know if the standard Z mats are the only replacement option available in Australia or can we pay a bit extra to upgrade to decent JDM style mats with heel pads and pedal moldings, etc.

thanks

Hey what day you taking your car in? I'm really curious to see what they say about the fuel light.......

Will it be the sensor or the actual guage??? I'm guessing sensor....

Can you share the part number please? My dealer will only supply original ones as the metals ones are not on the parts system.

Booked in for Tuesday. Ev, yeah I reckon it's the tank sensor/sender. The service manager said to bring the car in on empty as they take the sender out of the tank and test it.

I got the mats replaced with the same plastic clip ones under warranty today. The metal ones were not on the system, so they said just keep bringing them back and we'll give you a new set each time they break. Nice.

The fuel guage problem was disgnosed down to one of the two senders used in the 370. They are orderring both senders from Japan and will call when they are ready to install. The electronic cluster tested fine.

Same here, as the passenger-side mat has a ring that fell apart within the first 200 miles of ownership.

Mine at the moment is only 1 light that won't light up.... still annoying lol.

It's nothing major but one of those things that eats at you over time haha.

They'll have the new mats as official replacement parts in a few months he said. I only plan on keeping my car for just under three years anyway.

My drivers side mat also broke the plastic clip, the dealer ordered a new set, and also the new tailgate springs, so I should be able to nip in monday to get them both sorted.

I had both my mats replaced again today for the second time (however I did specifically request the ones with the metal eyelets this time).

Anyone who needs the part number: G4900-1E000AU

Cheers,

Stu
