My car has 3,600kms on it and I have owned it since July 2009. In that time, I got a fair few stone chips due to highway/country driving. This is as a result of the shape of the car and its poor paint quality. My Z has the clear car bra applied to: 1. Entire bonnet 2. Lights 3. Front bumper 4. Front fenders 5. A pillars 6. Entire doors 7. Partial side skirt at the back 8. Partial rear bumper Here are some pics of the car. You are unable to notice there is a film on it. ![]() ![]() I have applied a black line in the photo to show the transition from clear film to metal. ![]() ![]() The film can be washed with normal car wash. However, at the end, you must apply a thin layer of Plexus Glass Polish/Cleaner to it with a mircofibre cloth and then buff it off. It leaves a lovely wax like finish to it. The business who applied this was called 'Ducoscratch'. Merrick is halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Paint Protection for your car or bike - Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast |
