I'd never say they are ugly. The funny thing is when people comment on my car they often say 'nice wheels'.

Will it get direct injection or is this just speculation? It would be nice but i'd want a USB connection before that

With all the work going into the DI for the infiniti MY10 stuff, I'm almost 99% sure it'll turn up in the MY11 zed for us. That would be the 2 year mark which is when Nissan start majorly tweaking things...

Guys just something to keep in mind when talking about the tax drops for this year.....

The US spec with the hard drive, USB and the 19" rims drive away price it $39,990USD (granted they don't have the rear fog light - $150 lol) even the Porsche boss once said, Australians pay so much for cars because that's the price they are sold at..... (not because it is inflated by taxes etc) and unless people make a movement, get used to it.

Using the rims as a ploy to keep consumers happy is just that.... there is no justification for giving them at the same price to keep consumers happy (and early adopters mad) I try not to get angry and justify their move but unlike a bonnet buldge etc coming in the 2011 model (if it does) the 19" rims are a huge change in both looks and performance.... and this pisses me off lol

hmmm dunno about 11 it'd probably come out 12-13 if it does.. Still too soon to swap out the engine (well pretty much) plus there is too much confusion around the whole DI engineering - it's not happening much anymore but there were fears with VW (i think it was) with blockages etc

If you paid full RRP for your car. Do it!!

I bought my Z with the knowledge of the 2010 and the 19's coming. Hence why I paid 57k for a brand new car in stock. Even If I get the 2010 wheels for say 4k and sell my 18's for 2k. I'm still going to come up on top for a 2010spec car for under 60k

It comes down to price. The dealerships won't move much off RRP until the 2010 build plated cars fall into 2011.

I don't think we will see an 370z update of any kind until the Mazda RX9 is coming out. Try late 2011 or 2012.

The 18's look ok but are just too small on our cars. A 50 profile on a 225/18 is massive! I think it's because the overall rolling diameter of the wheels/tyres are bigger than say a Commodore, so 18" look like 17" on the Z. Do you know what I mean?

The point about not getting the 19" is not about missing out on the latest bonnet bulge or 2nd gen upgrade, it's about being lied too about it in the first place.

I'll be happy with 19" running a 285/35/19 and won't upgrade.

Yeah fair point GTRFAN...

EVL370 - 57k. omfg... that's insanely cheap... i hate you... sorta... =) congrats man...

EVSE - seriously man there will be DI unless they conclude that our fuel is too dirty for it... in which case we'll just miss out alone... Australia's not a good place for cars... =(

haha yeah I know man, we get shafted in every possibly way here

But yeah, DI will most likely be used.... not any time soon though I don't think.....

Still don't think of it as much of an upgrade, It's been ok with fuel efficiency etc, but nothing to write home about....

I'd rather wait for the 400zx model in 2014 with factory turbage!

lol, reminds me of that ad where a guy keeps talking about getting his favourite car, but he still needs to save a bit mroe, and then he's 70 before he knows it hehehe.
I reckon waiting for the next best thing is BS - point of sports cars is to buy them and enjoy them, now, not in 5 years time, waiting, waiting.

Hey ellas01 what price did you get on the 2010 model? Can you update the price thread for other perspective 2010 owners?

I find 57K for a BRAND new one, 0km car, little bit hard to believe. Low 60's yes, but 57K - damn. What dealership did you get this deal from?

Well truth be told it was 57,500 drive away with mats.

Werribee Nissan.

I got the last 09 one in stock.

And Yes, BRAND new not a demo.

This is my car itself below.

Have to agree with 370ER, the usb connection is much needed.
I ordered a 370z roadster yesterday and told the salesman if it doesn't come with proper ipod functionality through the head unit I don't want it. So far I've seen 3 roadsters and none had it but I can only assume these are early release models as I have to wait 3 months for mine in bordeaux with a manual transmission.
