Aftermarket Exhaust - Sydney
I have been looking into getting my Z sounding better but have only found one company in Sydney that does a cat back for the 370. They are HiTech Mufflers - stainless exhaust system, hitech muffler, performance muffler and want $1,700 intalled. I've asked them for a dyno report but havent heard back yet...
Does anyone know of any other exhaust suppliers/manufacturers in Sydney? I have found another that is developing one but its not ready yet, they are Performance Mufflers, Exhaust Systems & Accessories - XForce Also what about just a new muffler to fix the sound for a way cheaper cost?? Cheers |

We have no choice but to get em from the states. Ask the vendors directly on this board and I'm sure you'll do much better than $1200. One quoted me $800 for an Invidia and they now come with normal stainless tips.

I'm also still interested in an exhaust but will also be buying locally when and if they are available.

I think I'll go for the HiTech CBE, I got a price for a Borla system at $3.5k fitted. I guess when you pay so much money for a car, putting something cheap and crap is not a smart thing to do.

The HiTech is Aussie made and is very good, so I'm told. I'm not sure of the final price yet, but $1700 is std retail price. I think I might be able to get a little bit better and for anyone else that wants one. I'll let you guys know. |

Yeah I was waiting for the hitech (i had it on the 350) but it sounded raspy for the 370. I kinda miss the sound I had on the 350.... it was perfect (when it was without HFC's).

I just had them fitted this morning, I was told there is 3 different versions of the kit. Quiet, Medium and Loud, I got the Medium kit coz I don't really want the whole neighborhood to know when I'm driving down the street. But even that one is louder than what I expected. Fit time took about 45mins and it does sound really good. I'll try and post a video over the silly season, keep in mind I was told the tone will change once I've done a few K's.
