Rear Park Assist
Got my rear park assist fitted today by the dealer. Works ok but man is it loud, anyone know if it can be turned down.
|
Hey Nice! I was actually just thinking about getting the same option fitted but not sure if its any good??
How much did Nissan Charge you? have you got any pics of the new parts installed? |

Is the rear visibily really that bad that this is needed.
Everytime I see those sensors in the bumper they just look shyte, no offence, but if they are needed then I can understand. |

I would have the same ones, only annoying thing is though that when i start the car with the stick in reverse, they continually beep until i go into neutral then back.

Well it's loud but not overly loud, I've never crapped myself from putting it in reverse lol
However.... you can hear it pretty loudly from outside to the point that my mate thought I had put reverse beepers in the car so I don't run over anyone... I think they just beep from inside the bumper on mine, yours speaker might be placed in a different location or something?.. |

Hmmm, not sure I never got the instructions with them because they were installed when i bought the car, but from the details it seems about right. They would be using the same ones anyway if they are installed at nissan.

Heres a pic showing the park assist installed. I don't think they look too bad considering the advantages. From a distance you don't even notice they are there.

I got front and rear parking sensors and reversing camera (Alpine)!
Visibility at the rear is shocking and front sensors make parking easier since the front is long. |
