Default Need help with Kenwood DNX8120

I added an amp, sub and Zenclosure box to my Kenwood DNX8120 HU, but I can't get any sound to come from it. Been doing audio since I was a teenager and I'm sure all the wiring is perfect as this is the first time I've had this issue. This unit is the most complicated one I've owned by far and what I'm thinking is that the subs aren't getting a signal from the HU. I went through the manual and the HU itself and can't seem to get the HU to recognize or switch to Preout to get the signal from the sub. I could be wrong, but this is what I'm assuming is the problem, the amp is powered up properly with all new everything. Any help at all is deeply appreciated.

Gotta look in your audio setup section. You have to turn the subwoofer output on. Check your manual for AUDIO SETUP or SPEAKER SELECTION......hope you get it figured out..

Do 2010 Nismos have an amp that needs to be bypassed? No Bose in my car from what I can tell and I'm sure my HU has a internal amp of its own, just wondering why I still can't get any sound from my sub.

Keep a cool head. we'll get it figured out. Sometimes its best to step back and take a deep breath. Frustration causes people to overlook the most obvious things.
Are you saying that you did not run RCA cables from the head unit to the amp?

Are you playing music through bluetooth? If so go into bluetooth settings in the radio and look for the option to change output to all speakers from front only. Kenwood sets it up so that all bluetooth audio goes to fronts only by default. This also cuts out sub. Try another audio source to confirm.

Thanks man and I did just that, I just left it alone for now. I'm playing it through my iPod, no Bluetooth. I connected an rca jack straight from my iPhone to the amp and got sound and also tapped the rca jacks that run to the amp with a AA battery and got sound so I know all of the wiring is correct, it's the HU, but just can't figure it out.
