Default Removed subs/amps, now Key Light is on??

Alright my 370 came with sub/amps and all that good stuff installed.

Since Im not into sounds or what not and know nothing about it, I decided to sell it. I sold the subs and amp yesterday. The buyer just checked if the subwoofers worked(which it did) and just unplugged the wires from the amp and the sub. And both of us left happy.

Later in the day, I went to my car, started it and noticed none of the gauges or odometer light came on, except for the KEY light. I plugged my key into the key slot but nothing. and for some reason, I had to hold down the Start car button to turn the car off.

So i thought maybe i had to unplug the power source of the amp, so i went to the battery and removed the wire that use to go into the amp. But that didn't change anything.

Can you guys help me figure out what i need to check or remove. Or if its just the Key its self and needs the battery replaced. Thanks

These are the wire from the amp

The top wire that alone is the one that went to the amp(I traced it)

Try insulating the end(s) of the wire that went to the amp(s) and hook the other end back up to the battery. If that doesn't work, I'd look at the fob battery. But your symptoms don't make a lot of sense to me.

Issue is: None of the gauges/odometer/ are working when i turn on/start the car. this happened right after I sold my amplifiers and subs.
I tried unplugging the wire that went from the amps to the battery but that didn't make the gauges/odometer work. Battery is 100% charged and working

It sounds like you have interrupted power to the gauges. I'd first check all the fuses (could have blown one during removal of amps) and then the connectors going to the gauges (could have knocked loose). The FSM may help identify wiring for gauges (see link in my sig).

I checked all the fuses last night, seems to be all good. I need to figure out where the connector is for the cluster/gauges so i can see if its been knocked off.

but now that i think about it. the day before, I replaced the serpentine belt, the old belt actually partially ripped while i was driving it(but i was able to drive it home) and ripped threw some of the, I believe alternator wire cover(which exposed the actual wires a bit). After replacing the belt, i unplugged 2 connectors underneath the alternator to tape the exposed wires up and plugged them back in.

After replacing it, I drove it around for about 3 miles and gauges were all working, next day is when i removed and sold the subs/amps, thats when i noticed gauges werent working.

I drove it around my house last night, just to see if it magically turns on, but the only light thats on during driving is the KEY light(left of the temp gauge). headlights, turn signals, radio they all work.

Would the alternator or anything around it have anything to do with the cluster/gauges?

EDIT: forgot to mention, the car starts up fine. but to turn off the car, i have to hold down the start button until it turns off(3sec) and another weird thing is that the other day when i was messing around trying to figure out the issue, i started it up and off and then i tried starting it again but nothing. didnt start up. thought it was the battery but i know the battery is fairly new, so i check from autozone, battery rated voltage at 12V. they charged it 100%. plugged the battery back in the next day and vuala, it started(but gauges/cluster still not working).

Sounds to me like you need to find someone that knows something about car wiring. It's way too easy to fry an expensive control module if you cross the wrong wires. Give him/her a copy of the FSM and a description of the problem. With that and a voltmeter he/she should be able to figure it out.
