Try insulating the end(s) of the wire that went to the amp(s) and hook the other end back up to the battery. If that doesn't work, I'd look at the

Try insulating the end(s) of the wire that went to the amp(s) and hook the other end back up to the battery. If that doesn't work, I'd look at the fob battery. But your symptoms don't make a lot of sense to me.
