Sub suggestion for an audio noobie
 

This is what is currently in my car, Polk DB6501.

I'm looking to get a subwoofer and amp as well, I've decided I'm going to go with these, as they are small and will fit behind my seat.

What's a good priced amp that'll power these two?

Is he wanting to amp everything?

Do you know what would be the best way to mount the sub box behind the seat, like so:

I guess the amp was well, do you just drill holes and screw it in? Or...

I hate them mounted there....ever think about behind the rear cross bar under the carpet.

Where the foam piece is? Then I'd have to get like 2 8's, right? Or I guess just one, but two would be better!

I bought the 8" one and it will be laying flat by my rear strut brace with velcro. Easy peasey and can take it out quickly.

yah, i have issues when these things have accessibility problems to my spare and tools under the trunk floor. i want to get the hell back home if i had a flat.

that said, i would get one that fits behind or under the driver/passenger seat forward of the rear tower bar.
