Is it possible to get the Navigation system that comes in the Nav package of a Touring 370? Has anyone with either a base model or Nismo model done this conversion yet? Is it even possible?

From what I've read so far, no, the Navigation system available to 370z Touring models and Infiniti models is NOT available to convert into a base or Nismo 370z. For the price, even if you could, you're better off getting an aftermarket nav HU like the Kenwood, Pioneer, Clarion, or Eclipse units.

There are, however, aftermarket LCDs that can be installed in place of your "storage compartment" cover, and they look pretty decent. A couple threads will turn up in a search for it.

Thats exactly what I'm in the mood for. I was able to find one such thread but that was some Japanese mod, haven't found anyone in USA specially NY install aftermarket stuff on the storage bin area. Would be great if I can get more info on that.
