Looking to buy new HU
As the title states I'm looking to upgrade from the stock bose HU. I was wondering what are some good recommendations in the $250-500 price range. The main things I'd like are bluetooth capabilities to talk hands free and stream music/video, custom eq's, and have some nice graphics/visualizations. Also I'll probably be looking to get a custom box and sub in the future at some point. I'm not too familiar with the caraudio world so any advice would help. Thanks in advance!

Hop on over to sonicelectronics and have a look around. any double-din unit will fit. there are just so many to choose from.

I agree with RonRizz, Woofersect is good as well. Pioneer and Kenwood seem to be the most popular, JVC has a nice one too, all the Nav's are different and personal preference. For example, Seri makes my brain hurt, but some people love it. I have just been through this process and recommend researching what you want. I recommend getting the biggest touch screen and not too sensitive due to our cars suspension. Steering wheel control kit and Sirius XM antenna need to be purchased at the same time. Bigaudifanatic sells a highly recommend "plug and play" wiring harness, unless your paying a pro to install it.
If you are buying a system Sonicelctronic has some great bundle deals. When I bought my amp there I got the wiring installation kit half price. Many of their speakers bundle with sound deadener. |
