Window reset isn't working for me

I posted this a few days ago on the reset sticky, but didn't get an answer and not sure that anybody's still watching that thread so I thought I'd try reposting it.

So, I've tried the fix about 600 times in 60 different ways over the last 6 months and haven't had any luck. The manual mode still works, but the automatic mode and the door close/window raise mode don't work. Also, it won't go up while the door is open, but it will go down.

This happened after I replaced the speakers and pulled the door panel to put in sound proofing. This is on the driver's side only and I'm about ready to go buy a replacement switch at $100, but am reaching out in hopes that somebody might have another suggestion to try.

Thanks!

Also, should I buy the switch or is there another part someone would suggest?

You did have both doors shut and the engine running when doing this correct? Also you did one switch at a time down for 30 seconds than up for 30?

Might be a connector that was not reattached somewhere.

Big,
I'll give it another try but I'm fairly certain that I've tried it that way once during the last 6 months. I haven't tried reseting the pax window because it still works, so I'll try that again. I'll also check the connectors, but the manual mode works great so I'm not sure.

Im guessing one of the connectors is off, or loose, as Big says above.

One side can not be connected but still have manual operations of the windows I am fairly certain.

The connector for the window switch. There is one in each door. Make sure both are connected, especially if one door is working and one door isn't.

Both doors are functioning properly auto up and down no lag no nothing the only problem is when i open and close the door the window doesn't auto go up and down even for a littel

I just had to play with mine the other day after some work with door panels off. After confirming that all connectors are fastened securely, You must have doors closed, and ignition to the run position....One window at a time, push and hold down button until window is down, and continue to hold for 5 or so seconds. then pull button to raise window until window is completely up, and continue to hold for 5 or so seconds. repeat for other side. should be all you need to do.
