Looks good to me. Please post how the switch out works for you.

Lol I have 2 Soundstream Reference 4.920 amps. After I heard the first one in car, I bought a second as a spare "just in case". These amps will stay with me, and maybe, if hes lucky, I can will them to my grandson! lol Yeah, I like them that much. It was just time for a change, and I wanted some of my trunk back. (the amp is kinda huge).
My Re audio amp was sold before I even took it out of the car.
My SS stealth sub has been posted in the for sale thread for a little while now.

Very nice. Speaker placement in stock location or custom? You are keeping your reference amps right?

RonRizz 10-12-2014 01:00 PM

Stock, with tweeters flush mounted just above mids in doors, additional tweeters on a pillars. Pics in my profile page.
And yes, the Reference amps are not going anywhere.:tiphat:

Does this mean you will definitely win the next show?

Lol.. nothings ever a given, like I found out at Last show..... I'm actually considering retiring from it all. I'm sure I will still show up just to look around, but who knows. If work eases up, and I have more free time, I just may make a run for finals one last time.

Let me know how you like the auto gain feature of those.

RonRizz 10-13-2014 03:59 PM

The auto gain is pretty nice. Takes the guesswork out of it for those may struggle to properly set gains. A quick check with a DMM tells me that its pretty accurate as well.
Another nice feature is that it also has adjustable output level (gain control) from the front panel. (for those who mistakenly use the gain as a volume knob, its completely safe to do so here, because it doesn't change your input gains). They also have auto turn on through signal sensing, which is a cool feature, and the digital display looks cool as hell !
