Bose and Replay Gain

Does anyone know if Bose stereo supports Replay Gain when playing from a USB stick?

Thank you.

By default bose does some funky stuff to your music with it's internal processor so saying it does Replay Gain I wouldn't put it past them.

I read somewhere (can't remember where) that the Bose will recognize/use RG if the music is on an audio CD (CDDA) but not CD-ROMs (MP3, &c). I assume that the Bose treats a USB stick like a CD-ROM. But that's just something I read on the Intertubes, so take it with a grain of salt.

I was trying to equalize/normalize the volume to be the same for different songs, but I don't think it worked. So you are probably right.

Some audio programs (IIRC, foobar is one) will export songs with RG applied. Might be more effort than it's worth, but it's an option.

I used MP3gain without results. I'll check out the others.
