Default Escort 9500ci

I want the Escort 9500ci. Its totally built into the car with external sensors and will shift laser radar guns making the car invisible to laser! For standard radar it has a 3 mile range plus all the other features of the 9500ix. One big downside, it costs $2000.00 installed!

SWEET!

Has that laser tech been proven yet?

Here is what I have been told. The same company that makes the laser radar guns also makes the laser jammer for the escort.

I had a K40 with bluetooth sensors. It was nice and clean, my only issues is you mount the sensors in your bumper, and the car being so low to the ground, I felt my V1 pick up cops at a greater distance than my K40. That's my take on it. It was a nice system. Just felt the distance wasn't that great. Maybe if you can mount them higher somewhere else it might get a better distance? My two cents.

I would think that Escort's laser-jamming tech isn't much different from Blinder, K40, Lidatek, etc.

ok thanks for the info. from what i have read in these forums so far i am looking at getting the escort. but i want to be sure that it of course works well, cannot be detected, and is hidden as much as possible. i live in virginia which from what i have read is the only state where detectors are illegal.

i also have read that if you are caught using a radar detector in virginia they will revoke your driver's license and means you will have to get your car towed.

ouch! i could only find that it is a fine up to $1,000 and may lead to confiscation of the radar detecting device.

That is why the hidden ones are very popular. The V1 has a nice addon piece, but the main unit still ends up being out in the open unless you hack it up (properly).

I believe laser jamming is legal but radar jammers are not. If you have a laser jammer I would have it switched so when you get hit you slow down quickly and shut it off. Then when the officer hits you again he gets a reading and just thinks he had a misread.
