The rears really do add a ton of sound being that they are right next to your head. I would say I hear them the most. I agree with making sure they are tuned on the high side that tiny little cone will flutter like crazy if not. The dash speakers aren't true tweeters in that they are designed more like a tiny little woofer(all paper) they will sound far better if you can replace with a metal composite/dome type instead.
