Bluetooth phone connects immediately. Streaming takes 10 min. Same for you?
I have a '12 with nav and all that good stuff. I also have an iphone 5 with the latest software. Immediately upon starting the car bluetooth phone connects but the music streaming takes like 10 min to show up as an audio option. Is this normal? Anybody else experience the same?

Mine does the same thing, sometimes its also instant, other times I have to fight with it to get it to sync up. Its frustrating at times.

:shakes head:
is that because your phone is locked? :ugh: my pioneer can stream music off my droid within 5-10sec of start up with or without screen lock on my droid. |
I don't stream internet radio off my phone. It's too inconsistent and cuts in and out too much for my liking. I have Virgin Mobile as my phone provider. That may be part of the problem but hey, for $27/month, you can't beat it.

yah, i use verizon and stream pandora off my pioneer. ive not had issues with drops.
and i have unlimited data plan so i stream all the time. :D |
I have a 4S and it does the same sort of things, although once I get it synced up it works well until the next time I turn off the car.

Mine never drops unless I go to an area with bad coverage. But the Bluetooth is flawless once it connects after 10 min. But if I stop somewhere real quick and get back in I have to switch to another source in the meantime for another 10 min.

That would annoy the hell out of me.
|
Yeah it does, I have stopped trying to fight with it unless I am headed out on a road trip.

Mine hooks up within a few seconds after startup. But I usually have it on Bluetooth the whole time, never really use the radio much cause reception stinks. I have an android phone though. If i switch to radio, and switch back, takes a couple seconds to play where I left off.
