I actually just did this tonight. You need to tap into pin 15 and ground it along with the ground lead from the aswc. Pin 15 acts as ground for pin 6 and pin 16 if you look in the service manual.
There are two configuration listed on aswc website. One shows gray/red to peach wire (pin 6) and gray/blue to blue wire (pin 16). The second configuration just swap the two wires to the opposite pins. I'm not sure what the difference is, maybe the base and Bose system is different. I used the first configuration with my Kenwood and it auto detect the HU and programmed all the buttons for me. I'd use disconnect able wire to wire on pin 6 and 16 just in case you need to swap them. Last edited by Minhtin; 08-13-2014 at 05:31 AM. |
