Default finally all new audio

just got some stuff installed at pure audio in Naples.

Speakers: hertz DSK165.3 component
pic from online

Head unit: pioneer AVH-X4600BT

Sub and box: JL CS110LG-TW3

Amp: jl audio e1400d monoblock

it's a perfect setup for me, nothing too crazy but just enough.

the head unit is awesome, 7" screen and dose way more then i need but mostly it looks clean.

the sub hits plenty hard for how small an compact it is at 400rms.

speakers sound very good, I'm no expert but not harsh or too bright.

all in all I'm I'm very happy with everything

Very Nice! How hard do the lower notes hit on that little thing?

I just got myself Nismo and I currently have a 12" Type R in a massive box (taken from my old car). I have it there temporarily until i find a 10" Sub or a preloaded sub in one of those pick-up truck boxes so i can lay it down.

Also, what shift knob is that? Are you on a short shifter or oem? Does the shift knob get hot during the summer?

ok so the sub:
it's amazing, sometimes I look back an forget its not a 12. I researched this sub alot!!
pretty good all around sub and it hardly takes up any space.
it hit's damn hard on deep bass i even have the gain turned down a little and on 4 out if 6 on the head unit (depends on the song tho.
but like I said I'm no expert I just read an watched all the reviews online.
I couldn't be happier!

shift knob is the sphere from lathe werks, he is a really good guy!
he can do anything u want
it threads on very low I also did a little customizing and if ur interested I can go into greater detail for u on how to get the owm shifter low with that knob I just didnt like the way the twm short shifter felt.
this sits just as low and the knob weighs 500 grams. he can customize the know however u want. best costumer service ever

it can get hot if I don't use the windshield shade. been thinking of getting it powder coated wrinkle black the to help with the heat but I kinda like the way it looks so ill wait until it gets all scratched up to do that. it's not that bad tho.

you can trim down the shankwasher a lot thinner than that.

but i guess you might want to get an aftermarket boot in your case then.
if you buy the momo boot, they usually come with a large conal spacer that goes
on the inside the boot where it shapes the top to match rounded contours
pretty well. im running a specter knob on my G and it's a perfect fit at the
rounded bottom.

GL!

think I might get a boot off of redlinegoods...
I'll have to keep messing around. just got back from lowes with the washer but I think I like my metal one more. maybe try to polish the aluminum to match the sphere...
endless combos, it's like shoes for girls

Man, I am too afraid to drill into the chassis like you did. Worried I might hit something vital.
