Rear Storage Compartment Removal.

Does anyone have any pics on how to remove these? I got everything else out except for the rear storage compartment. I'm stumped and I'm afraid to yank too hard

NM, found a section in the service manual that has all the interior diagram.

Open it up then pull straight out on the cubbie, it will pop right out.

I was talking about the whole assembly that's attached to rear strut brace. It has two storage cubbies and the mini glove box. That thing is like a jigsaw puzzle to remove without looking at the service manual.

Am I taking crazy pills? I only have the tiny glove box. Where are the storage compartments? Are you talking about the shelves?

Lol it's the little shelves right behind the seats. Maybe I'm the only crazy person that use it for storage.

For a little car, this thing sure has a lot of panels.

i think you're taking about the "parcel shelf" which has that soft area where people can put small handbags and stuff, correct?

in the service manual it says to pry up the forward part of the shelf to unclip (use interior tool),
then pull towards the front of the car to remove.

here's wat an interior tool looks like

5 Piece Auto Trim and Molding Tool Set

you can use the one with the circle or the one on the left of the circle one to pry it up.
