ALWAYS disconnect the negative. People saying they don't are playing with major fire with all the computer systems in cars.

I am guilty for not disconnecting the battery myself. Usually because half of what I am doing is troubleshooting an electrical issue.

She wasn't hurt when the airbag went off. Just had a sore face.

Still nasty in there.

Finally had a little time to get started on sound deadening today, but I only got one door done before the sky started making me nervous.

I probably would have gotten more done faster but I forgot about the damned rivets that need to be drilled out to get to the inner door skin...and of course my drill decided to take a crap today and I had to run out and replace it.

Overall it went well. The resonance in that door panel has been completely controlled (with the exception of the outer door handle buzzing a bit. I never did figure out how to suitably address that on the last Z either.) and there is a noticeable improvement in midbass response, which was already fairly respectable. Not too shabby.

With a little luck I'll be able to get the other door and the hatch done over the next few days. This has gone on WAY longer than I intended.
