I also have one of my amplifiers mounted under there.. Never had an issue with it overheating. Also, one your amplifier is hooked up and gains set properly, you should not have to touch it unless problems develop.

Amplifier produce strong Electromagnetic Field, which not really good for human if mounted too close to car seats

metal springs in seat direct all electromagnetic flow rearward, adding several hp at rear differential, so its all good.

If I need to rely on an EM field for ANYTHING regarding my junk I have far bigger problems to worry about than figuring out where to mount an amplifier in the Z.

I mounted an Alpine MRV-M500 to the plastic shelf behind the driver's seat. I didn't want to use screws, so I used 3M automotive trim double sided tape. I had to double it up to make it thick enough, but it's on solid. I have a strip at the top and another at the bottom. If I decide to remove it, I can go back to factory without any damage. I also the tape on the remote knob and stuck it to side of the center console, just behind the seat belt latch. It's out of sight, but within easy reach.
