Default 1 bose speaker damaged what to do..

Hi i think the bose speaker in my door is damaged. Gets very crackly on high notes (vocal/guitar notes). But sounds fine with low bass etc. Its only the one speaker that sounds awful even does this at a very low volume

So i went to nissan and they wanted $180 (aud) for a new speaker. I have a pair of alpine type r's 6x9 sitting in my shed is there anyway i could replace the damaged speaker with a type r or change the pair

If i cut off the bose plugs to the 6x9 and just wire the alpines up will this work.?
