Metra kit + Navi = no gaps?
I am looking for a Navi for my base 370Z, but I don't want any gaps around the unit. I found the metra kit for the 370Z and it claims to provide no gaps. I was wondering if anyone can confirm the fitment of this kit?

I think everyone has just installed the unit in using the factory stuff. I could be wrong though. To me the way an aftermarket one looks installed that rely dose not look like a gap to me. Or at least that is how I see it. If you want order the kit and give it a try.

I just need to find a good Navi unit, I wanna stay away from pioneer since I keep hearing negative stuff about them. What are the 2 best Navigation units available?
|
Kenwood and Kenwood they sort of have taken then the cake for best built in nav and all. Alpine is not bad but they are not as user friendly. The preferred one is a kenwood 6140.

Awesome, I like kenwood products so I guess it will be a win win, I think I'm going to just try the metra kit since it provides no gaps, I'll post a review after I install it but I wish someone else can assure me of it's fitment.

Sounds good man good luck.

He is worried about that tiny gap around the unit. He dose not want that. That is why he is asking about the dash kit.
