New Headunit now random stiff steering?
I put in a sony nav yesterday in an odd location(street somewhere). I forgot to put the gps antenna and mic because I wanted to check if the sound was ok (bose touring with SOEM-4).
Sound was good, very happy, it was better than the bose HU. I drove home everything was fine. Later in the day I installed the Mic (plug in 3.5mm) and the GPS (plug in clip). The GPS worked fine. I did not test the mic but now... My steering wheel is stiff. I know its electronically controlled, the stiffness. Any relationship between this? The NAV does have a speed sensor hooked up and works flawless. The wire was also hooked up before and the steering was smooth. Any information appreciated. The steering is constantly smoothly stiff (not low on fluid/belt or broken pump, although I wish it was that easy like greasing the joint) TY
